The app is good in that it is simple to use and covers the local news and events of the day. however I do not like the new change where it makes you view an ad for 5 seconds or more when launched before you can use the app. please remove this and go back to just having side ads mixed in on the app pages.

The app covers the basics and lets me catch up on some news and weather, pulling data from their website. Many “ articles “ are just a couple lines, but fair enough. No bugs yet in this version of the app. ........ I down rate it because everything you look at is saddled with 3rd party social up-worthy clickbait “recommended” junk looking identical to news articles; like: some-town-name you won’t believe this startup is disrupting a 200 billion dollar industry. .... WABI, cut it out. How can you stoop so low? Totally unprofessional ... whomever implemented that should be fired. You are a news company, not some random blog. Why this 3rd party BS on every page? Several times longer than the “article” wasting everybody’s precious mobile data. Keep it professional, stick to facts and present just the news.

Facebook and Twitter account integration for things like saving stories and settings would be great!
