App Enhancement

Love the app and would rate it 5 stars of it had just two more features. First would be splitting sets to record progress on each side like Single arm supported Dumbbell Rows. This allows the ability to improving a weaker limb or recovery after an injury on one side. This applies to glutes too like Dumbbell Split squat. Second would be a rest timer between sets that we could set maybe as setup options or just in the workout screen where we can add in rest by 30 second increments or cancel it if we are moving right into another set or exercise. Maybe not everyone would want these but at least make them options for us if we do. Again, love the app Dr. Mike!!!

Decent - Not Worth the $

Pros: 1. It’s nice not to have to think about your Meso week to week or create it yourself. 2. The UI is nice and feels more modern than most others. 3. Easy to add exercise or adjust order for the workout. Cons: In Order in my opinion. 1. You have to start your Meso on Monday, no adjusting the start day which is super annoying. 2. Price compared to others. 3. No Cardio log or ability to add that for a warm up or cool down to keep track of that from Meso to Meso. 4. There is no Calendar type tab for date of workout or time etc. It’s a Calendar like Monday, Tuesday - Week 1, Week 2 which is nice but would like a calendar tab to click on day and see what I did in the past instead of trying to hunt down which Meso and day and workout type thing. 4. Exercise library, they have a lot and you can add your own but then the video or feel of it is different then the built in ones. They have like 6-7 exercises I do a lot that I had to add manually.

2-year user

I’ve been through a ton of different apps and programming in my 12 years of consciously trying to be consistent in the gym. I’ve carried the notebook to the gym. For me, the convenience and ability to look back and see weight/sets/reps or pull up a mesocycle I did a year ago is why I continue to subscribe. The last two years I have been the most consistent I’ve ever been and the hypertrophic gains I’ve been able to put together the last two years trumps the previous 10 in a landslide. I know that was a result of consistency, not a magic app, but the convenience of optimal programming makes consistent training significantly easier. I know there are cheaper options if you’re willing to do a few extra steps but I’ve proven to myself time and time again I should try and remove any and all obstacles. And even if I were a real tight wad about it, what’s my time worth? I spend about 30 minutes a year planning my programming now. Set it and forget it. Thanks for reading. **Patiently awaits large check from Dr Mike**
