Very fun game with lots of strategy. Customize how cool your slime looks. The visuals are on point. Have not encountered any bugs at all. Very clean. Easy to pick up, keeps you playing until youโve lost track of time. You donโt need to spend money at all to enjoy the entire game. There are ads to support the developer, but not intrusive or too often. Characters can be unlocked just by playing the game. Lots of modes and very well thought out. Like you complete a run, then you can take that same developed team and play it in the harder tower game mode. Will be spending many more hours playing. Thank you for making such a wonderful game!
This game is fun and addictive. The combat system is unique and tactical, and the run is perfect length for a mobile game. I wouldnโt really consider this a roguelike because it is more about going through the levels to get resources to unlock more things, but winning each location run is not a huge challenge. Gameplay wise, I think there is more room to grow in each decision space. Pathing throughout the level should be a bit more of a puzzle rather than โgrab the chest, okay now fight the enemyโ. It also doesnโt quite have the depth of something like slay the spire, where you have to plan your build around specific problems and enemies. Once you find the items that fit your synergies, there is basically no reason to change your equipment. I wish the maps made me think about my build and what items I have in my backpack for each encounter. But overall it is very fun! I actually wish there was a paid version so I could try the challenges without having to watch ads. Otherwise, probably a top 5 game on mobile right now.
Rouge Slime was a game I downloaded to pass an hourโs worth of time, yet it has become a staple on my home screen. Outside of the addictive gameplay, there are 2 glaring flaws it has. 1) the slow early game progression that forces you to repeat the same 3 levels multiple times until you either get lucky enough to roll synergizing perks, or until you brute force with coin upgrades. 2) VIP costing 10$. VIP essentially lets you avoid the optional ads, which if you want to go anywhere in Rouge Slime, youโre gonna eventually have to watch a few. If Rouge Slimeโs VIP costed around 4.99$ or went on sale every once in a while, iโd buy it in a heartbeat. VIP costing 10$ is way too high to justify no ads and more resources. For reference, with 10$ you could buy access to entire games like wildfrost or balatro, which are considered goldmines when it comes to mobile card games.
