I can’t remember if I’ve ever reported this bug before, but it’s been a longtime issue that has never been fixed. The credit card section of the app won’t show individual transactions made on the closing date of the previous month. The total amount of the transactions from the closing date will post correctly, but the app won’t show the individual transactions from the closing date (in my case, the 24th of each month). However, there is a separate “View Transactions” link above it which takes you to another very detailed transaction page. I don’t understand why you need two separate pages for this. It’s just annoying to not see the individual transactions made on the previous closing date (which did not post and were not included in the previous bill), but the transactions will show up in the ongoing total transactions amount. Granted, it’s a small bug, but it’s just annoying and likely is a very easy fix.
RBFCU is a great bank, and my family has banked with them for 50+ years. However, this app does not represent the great bank we know and love. The app was clearly not designed professionally - it seems like everything from the color choices to where notifications are located are just random choices made by contracted devs with zero UI experience. For instance - why would you add a photo icon on the main screen, when you can’t even set the photo? Why do you have this random blank area on the most important part of your screen real estate where notifications randomly post (that are not really important). Why would you make loans look identical to bank accounts, and make the balances all positive which looks like an account instead of debt? The actual interface is so clunky it is embarrassing. A college comp sci intern could do better, there is really no excuse to have such poor digital representation. Additionally, while the UI is clearly terrible, the actual features of the app make almost no sense. Why would I send money to contacts in my phone via phone number if I don’t know if they use RBFCU? Why would I want to round up into a savings account that pays almost nothing in interest when other companies round up into yield products like stocks? The one feature that drives me the most crazy is the fact that I can’t even scroll back to transactions prior then a couple of months. Point blank - do better or outsource this project to someone more capable. It’s absolutely insane that RBFCU felt comfortable publishing this app. I won’t be leaving RBFCU and happy to share my personal thoughts, but please get with the future and do better or RBFCU will no longer have young gen x or millennial customers.
I don’t understand how this app was released! It does not function under the iPad for mobile deposits, IF you can get it to allow you to log on. Went to my iPhone, and after more than a half dozen attempts, and me finally holding my head at the appropriate angle (which I had to figure out by trial and error), it allowed me to access my account. Then as I attempted to complete a mobile deposit, which required a totally different angle that I discovered after 3 tries, I was able to scan my check (both sides), then I was cooking until I attempted to complete the transaction when everything was gone!! I went at it again and finished the transaction and attempted to log out with success. Whew, but wait, why is my logon and PW showing on the logon screen? I erased that information and promptly deleted the App!! Shame on you RBFCU!!
