PPSSPP Gold - PSP emulator

Finally the PPSSPP is back on iOS without the need of jailbreaking your device (if that’s even still a thing). Wanted to show my support by buying the gold edition considering I had a few bucks to spend. Edited: The app runs great on the iPhone 12 Mini/iPhone 15, so anything in between should run phenomenal at 30-60fps depending on your settings. So if you’re concerned if it runs on your device or not, it should. Others have also claimed texture issues (tho I am not too sure, it seems to be more of a game issue than emulator issue), this is likely due to something going wrong when extracting the file from the UMD ROM, or it likely just doesn’t work. I say this only because SOCOM 1/2 works great but SOCOM Tactical Strike seems to be the only SOCOM that has graphical issues, nothing to do with the emulator. If you are still concerned about whether or not on how the emulator runs, download the free one before you get the paid one, this version is only to support development. Please also take note that the free one only gets the latest update due to the fact that Apple declines every update the developer tries to push out for the paid one. It’s not that he forgot about us, it’s just apples review system.

Can we please get more updates and plug ins I absolutely love this app money well spent people say it’s the same as the free version but trust me there’s a difference. The only thing I dislike about it overall is that I want better controller settings-Layout and more cheats-Plugins ex. Come on developers how is it that the free version gets an update before the paid version. But with all that being said I absolutely love this app 10/10 keep up the good work!:)

But ever since the most recent update on the swipe to left gesture being disabled now shows that blurred bar on the bottom when I play games using an external controller which is quite annoying. Would love an option to enable that back or have a dedicated on/off toggle for it. I didn’t see any performance difference since the description did say it reduced touch screen performance. Nonetheless, I’m still giving it 5 stars because it’s a fantastic PSP emulator.
