OVO Energy Top-Up

Iv been with the same energy company since I left home but will admit they have changed names over the years only ever had one problem and that’s when they and I say that because I was not at the property blew my meter out so I would have a smart meter only trouble with that is like I said I was not home and wasn’t able too come home due to where I was and didn’t have staff to take me home my daughter was able to get there 2 days later by that time everything had to be thrown away but never offered to replace my food but since then I use the app it’s never let me down great app but as for the smart meter mines in the junk draw so it ain’t that smart thought it was going to help clean the house and car the way they went on about it but no useless

Terrible updates still awaiting items offered before Christmas to help with keeping home warmer item’s chosen have never arrived! Desperately need a in home display unit apparently ordered back September/October time but still not received one. Also used to get frequent updates to phone via text sms updating me that I’m going to be running low and need to Topup with few days. But for some reason not receiving updates to help warn me on my balance which is upsetting as without an in-home display I’m having to guess what my balance is, as I don’t have broadband in home as cannot afford it. so have to be or go somewhere to connect to WiFi if my phone will, so I can get on app to check balance and top Topup. But why have my text sms’s stopped coming through giving me updates on my mobile please.? It’s terrible when I’m on venerable list due to disability’s and my son’s a SEND child also? And suffering from OCD & is dyslexic & also on the autistic spectrum, So I’m Extremely Disappointed, of keep being disappointed, as nothing promised me has been sent out to me. In home display unit, so I can actually see the balance’s of both, at anytime, at just a quick glance! 😩 ….

I’m topping the Gas and Electric up with £20 on each every three day’s, I have to stay in my bedroom as I’ve got a broken back and have nurses and caregivers. The only thing that is used in the day is my bedroom TV I’m not putting the heating on because I can’t afford it and I’m cold so I use extra blankets. I don’t understand why the UK have the highest energy prices in the world? It’s affecting my daily living and also my pain is worse when it’s cold. I honestly think this government is the worst yet, I’m on ESA and PIP after I was assaulted and had my back broken 4 spinal surgeries and now I have no bladder function etc. I used to get the winter fuel allowance but this year I got nothing because I’m 43. It’s crazy that people are living in poverty when the UK is supposed to be one of the richest countries, I worked as a teacher for 26 years paid my tax and national insurance and didn’t ask to be disabled. There is no help for people like me and the price continues to rise, why not give low income families solar panels etc. it’s extremely difficult to live with a severe disability then on top the house is in darkness and absolutely freezing cold, I never asked for this way if life and living conditions are affecting my mental health as I suffer from PTSD, depression severe anxiety and it’s all too much especially now they don’t give disabled people the winter fuel allowance. There’s no support in these companies and they don’t care at all, they never came to fix my electric meter and it took them over a year to sort it then told me I was in debt while I was waiting on them to sort it out! I feel absolutely defeated and have given up trying.
