Oby Adventure: Platformer

UPDATE: Really like it so far. Touch controls are not good. Controller works great. It would be nice to know which of the 3 tokens/coins you are missing, they do not have a reserved spot so if you only find the second token in a level, it fills the first slot. Ignore the morons with negative reviews, nothing is free. Support small developers. The IAP are clearly listed on the App Store.

Honestly, I like it! It’s very heavily inspired off of Mario, and I think they did a great job with the 2.5D aspect of the game from what I played off the demo. I do think the controls could be a bit more fluid. There were plenty of times that I missed the left/right buttons and the dash button. I think some development towards making the buttons: 1. More flexible 2. More thematic (currently it’s just left/right arrows and a big 1 and 2) Could go a long way.

The game itself is great, feels like a Nintendo classic! They could easily make this a bit 3d and make it feel like a 3D Mario game, Mario galaxy, or oddesy. MAJOR CON: MUST PAY AFTER FIRST LEVEL! Feature suggestion: Add it so you can move on a joystick or by a area within the screen not just 2 small buttons Make a base price for the game, ide pay a good 5$ for the whole game maybe, not 3$ for world one. I was about to come give this a solid 5 stars after I completed level 2, but then I had to pay for it and got super disappointed. Edit: after the developers response I definitely feel they deserve at least 3 stars, I truly hope you guys decide to add the controls and the 1 time film game payment, I would love to play more of this game but buying the game 1 world at a time seems a bit outrageous for a mobile game.
