I like it but…

The graphics and story line are amazing but it does get upsetting that certain choices aren’t pickable based off whatever emotion you are feeling in the game. I understand that’s realistic in a way with how life is because your emotions lead to your decisions but I really do wish we had more choice in the matter at least for the game. I know there’s multiple endings but it would take forever to try and see them all because of the fact you would have to have a specific emotion and change your interactions with people for your timeline to change and for your outcome to change. Once again yes that’s real life and I admire the depth of it but I wish there was a way to access each specific timeline at the changing points to get you to the different endings. Even though the game saves your progress it also saves your emotions in those saved moments so if you really wanted to change the outcome of things you would essentially have to start from scratch and be a different version of yourself to access those different timelines. Which is the whole concept of the game and I applaud the creators for that. I see both the beauty and pain in that. Overall on a depth level you guys did amazing with the game but on a consumer level I do feel like if you want more people to have that type of outlook on your game you should make it free at least so they can enjoy the experience and not feel like they wasted money.

Pretty ok

Its a pretty okay game. Its similar to games like episode or something but its a lot longer and its more like reading a book. My biggest critique is that you are often prompted on what choice to make in a conversation. If you want us to reply in a certain way you might as well not even give us an option. Gameplay wise theres nothing too too spectacular. there isnt much to do besides read and choose options. But if youre looking for like a good read this is a great game for that

Fantastic, well-made game with a great story. Bought once, have to pay per game slot? Odd.

TLDR: a thought provoking Sci-fi, futurism, choose your own adventure game with great writing, storytelling, and multiple endings. Purchasing is weird, can’t play more than once. I was bored, had a few hours on my hands, and wanted a new game. Neo Cab piqued my interest from the description alone. I downloaded it and found myself enamored with the storytelling, dialogue options, art, character uniqueness, inclusivity, and world building. When I finished the first day or two, it said I had completed the demo. I needed to see how this story ended, and I’m glad I bought the full version. I knew from the start this was an investment, because the game can be played multiple times with multiple endings/game experiences. If you have ever played Papers Please (another great & similar game) it is just like that. The full story is so attuned to the current day, and I appreciated that. AI, automated cars, futuristic cities, conspiracy, mystery, corporate corruption, monotonous jobs, moral ambiguity, technology advancing too fast, and manipulative politics all put together into a precautionary sci-fi future we might live out soon. Of all what I like most about this game is it makes you stick to your guns. Trust your instincts, and stick to your emotional truth. You have to do what is right for you. Wish more of the purchasing was disclosed/corrected
