If you’re active duty in the military, I’m surprised this isn’t widely promoted. I’ve been in the military for 18 years and have never heard of this app or the exceptional customer service it provides. It’s far superior to any service I’ve encountered in the states. This should be disseminated through NAVADMIN. I’ve received the best medical treatment of my career through this app. The answer phone staff take care of you promptly, especially the Singapore-based team. They put you on hold and immediately within 5 minutes, authorization and referrals are approved. I strongly advise leadership to make this available to all service members immediately.

The app is useful as far as keeping up with appointments. However, it says I have a notification on the badge but when I go into the application nothing is there. The number 1 has been there for months unless I delete the app and reinstall it.

The governmental shifts in veteran/retiree healthcare have been tricky to follow and keep up with. I find it especially that way since I spent the majority of my service time OCONUS. Now, back in the States I’m navigating the nuanced means to get care while traveling. The MyCare Overseas is a handy way to manage what happens with my family’s healthcare over there. I love logging in with my face, and getting to the claims section is easier than ever! Please add that function into the app, instead of exiting to a web browser! I’m late to this app, but now that I know about it, I hope it eases previously challenging matters.
