My Wellcare Rewards

Wellcare has been a great choice of health insurance for me for the past few years. The Plus is the giveback reward plan. Great perks for simply taking care of myself. I highly recommend WellCare!

My client received a call stating she would receive a $50 gift card for using an in home colon cancer screening test. She was told if she also completed tasks she would receive a max amount of $200 for the year. It’s been over 90 days so I reached out to inquire about the $50 gift card and I was told she can only receive max of $200 from her tasks. I don’t think it’s fair for her to be promised a $50 gift card and her insurance billed almost $600 for the test. She should have received this $50 separately from her tasks. This needs to be addressed because any other preventative tasks were not included in her $200 max task amount. She’s going to be switching insurance carriers because the elderly really depend on the rewards for their meds or extra food, or toiletries.

Never have I ever been rewarded for going to the doctor and keeping up with my health, until this app! Before I was earning point towards gift cards rewards. The app stop working for a little bit (couldn’t log in) and now I just reconnected and it has even better rewards. You actually earn money for doctor visits and preventive care. I do wish it was a digital gift card, it’s 2025 we shouldn’t be wasting plastic on something that can be completely digital. But hey can’t win them all. But so thankful for this app. 🙌🏾
