I have a 145 day streak, so I’m enjoying this program and feel fairly committed. My favorite TGs are Word Chains and Unrelated, but I really don’t like Let Go. I’m not sure what that says about me, but I find it interesting that I have such a profound preference for some TGs over others. That’s not why I took away one star though. My reasoning for that is over a relatively minor gripe–the little blurb that pops up when you first open the game! It drives me simply mad. 1) You don’t have to tell me that I’ve reached my highest streak everyday. That really shouldn’t be mentioned unless you’ve been absent from the game for a while and are actively trying to rebuild a streak. 2) Please get rid of the text transition that causes each word to come in one letter at a time, or at the very least, make it so when you tap the screen the whole paragraph just pops up. Either way, just make it faster to read that blurb and get on with the program. That’s it! So far that’s the only complaint I have about this program. Overall, I’m a big fan and I’ve recommended Mood Bloom to some of my close friends, as well as my husband’s work colleagues, who are all psychiatrists.
I enjoyed playing the game for the past three months. It has soothing music, soft cartoon graphics that are easy on the eyes and nice sound features. It does have glitches in game play. Not sure how to send help for glitches in game. It doesn’t reload the mission board and keeps glitches in the mission maps. You can log in and out and the game mission board doesn’t fix itself. When they did the last update. They took off 4 slots to sell your goods instead of two. They took away complete mission buttons so you can’t complete missions on the boards. And they keep pushing for money. So original I was giving the game five stars but with the inability to complete missions might end its gameplay among players who want to play for free. It’s nice to play though. If they fix the glitches on the mission boards and bring back two of the four slots they took away I would give it five stars again.
This game is a little addicting but it times things out pretty well to make you put it down for a bit and I think that’s smart. I wish the journaling feature didn’t make you type with your phone sideways. I would use it more if not for that. I also think it would be good incentive to get experience points for journaling. The longer you journal or the more words you use, the more points, maybe? Maybe giving a max amount of experience points you can earn from doing that would be good. I have not noticed a positive difference in mood but it’s only been 4-5 days so far.
