I’ve only been using the app for a day or so- it’s got some cool features. I’m mostly interested in seeing my goals, more than the extra features. I noticed my music kept stopping when I use the app which is problematic for anyone who listens to music while multitasking. I wrote the developers on a Sunday and they responded a couple hours later, promising a fix within a week. that’s EXCELLENT support and I look forward to seeing how this app evolves, knowing they truly prioritize the end-user experience. I ended up buying the subscription because I really appreciate the fact that they listened to my comment, and I hated seeing the “gift” ad on the screen. Well worth it for the low annual cost! I look forward to using this app consistently and bettering myself! Cheers!
I was expecting a lot more from this app. I'm more disappointed in it than I thought I would be at first. Pros: Cute panda Easy to add goals Easy to add sub-goals Handy to open whenever I need to add something vs. needing to write it down in a planner Cons: If you don't complete a goal & don't have it set to repeat daily, it doesn't automatically stay on your list the next day. You have to re-add it every day or set it to repeat, & then delete it after you complete it. There is no interaction with the panda. It's cute, but it can't interact with you or any of the objects. It just sits there, so it's hard to actually care about it. I was hoping it would be more like taking care of a nano pet/tamagotchi. What you can spend bamboo on to buy things for the panda is extremely limited. How many beds, doors, windows, or chairs does one room need? It would be better if you could dress it clothes or give it snacks. It's a little buggy. I changed my panda's name, yet the notifications keep coming in with the old name. The challenge where you get treasure chests for finishing goals hasn't worked for me either. I wish you could easily change subgoals each day. I want to have a category & just change the subgoals, but if the goal repeats, the subgoals repeat too, & you have to manually delete old ones, not just mark them as complete. All in all, I don't think it's worth the cost. It's cute & I liked the idea of it at first, but the more you use it, the more limiting it becomes.
I just downloaded today and completed the introduction steps. I have tried a lot of apps but most apps have too many steps and begin to overwhelm me, so I usually lose interest immediately. This app so far seems to have everything I am looking for AND SO EASY TO USE. The app is set up in a visually appealing manner and doesn’t make me feel so “adult”. It feels like a game! I am so excited and have high hopes this will be what puts me on track. One suggestion I have: I am a college student with ADHD and I think I, and many other students in my position, would really benefit from an educational aspect to keep us on track as well. Of course, we can add this in and set our own goals for college related tasks, but usually I forget and am easily overwhelmed without a little encouragement. Possibly even a setting where users can toggle on or off whether they are a student and would benefit from education-related motivators (prompts/journals/goals/lessons). Keep up the amazing work, I am really looking forward to this journey! :)
