It is unfathomable that a company with such an amazing product and business has such complete garbage tech. This app barely functions, if you can even get it to load at all. Features are constantly broken or have never worked and navigation is abysmal. For what we pay in memberships, and for a publicly traded, international company, this is unacceptable. Not to mention the jumble of disparate F45 apps is so confusing - F45 Life, Glofox, MindBody, F45 Challenge - none of them work, and they all conflict with each other. You guys are missing such a massive opportunity to have a best-in-class app that gives users rich metrics on performance (Lion Heart), progress, workout history, challenge/nutrition info, and integrations into third party apps for deeper fitness tracking. It’s so obvious, the only reasonable explanation is carelessness. I have been hearing about a new all-in-one app in development for over a year, but this experience gives me little to no hope that it will be any better or isn’t just vaporware. I’m a diehard member, and I just expect better.
The app times out pretty much every time I try to use it. It’s caused me to not be able to sign up in advance for classes and also not be able to remove myself from a class before the late cancel timeframe which is incredibly frustrating. This is regardless of my wifi strength or service coverage, I’ve tried turning my phone on and off again, I’ve tried removing the app and redownloading it.
Love F45. Love the easy sign up for classes. Love heart rate monitor. Class descriptions on app make no sense and don’t describe the class at all. They read more like a tarot card and don’t set expectations at all. Today was foxtrot and the description was: Back to basics in this tough, military style resistance system. Expect to rest, chitchat, or leave dry. Fox trot is an EPIC CARDIO adventure. What if should say is: CARDIO: Heavy WEIGHTS: Medium BODY FOCUS: (descriptions) 12 (4 sets each) stations combining......(listing some sort of real description) UPDATE: Looks like you guys made these changes whether you were already working on them or whether was my advice. I am grateful. Next recommendations: 1. on the videos in class, it would be extremely helpful if there was some emphasis on what muscle group or particular areas you should be pushing. For example, on squats, there could be some graphics that indicate pressure down and pushing through the heels. 2. Why are the points and heart rate monitors on the back wall and not on the front where there are more visible?
