We deeply regret purchasing a one-year subscription to this app. It has been nothing but a disaster! The user experience is awful, and contacting customer support only made things worse. It’s clear that the issues stem from the app’s poor system design, but the support team refuses to acknowledge this and instead keeps blaming the problem on our network. For instance, we repeatedly experienced message delays or even lost messages, which seriously disrupted our workflow. When we reached out to Live Chat support, they didn’t take the issue seriously and just kept insisting that the problem was due to our internet connection. However, our network works perfectly fine with other apps, so it’s obviously an issue with their system. As paying customers, we expected proper solutions, not dismissive responses and meaningless excuses. Live Chat’s attitude and poor-quality app completely failed to meet even the most basic expectations. This app is absolutely not worth the price, let alone a long-term subscription! Save your time and money – avoid this trash app at all costs!
This is infuriating. I get a status update on a ticket email and I click the “Open Ticket” link. It opens the browser and of course the url doesn’t include any auth provider hints like “hey, this guy signs in with Microsoft” so I have to click Sign In with Microsoft. And of course it doesn’t include the login_hint parameter or otherwise the logon=prompt parameter which would instruct my browser to suggest Microsoft accounts my device is already signed in with, so I have to enter my credentials manually like a barbarian. Finally, once the auth flow complete with MFA is completed I’m dropped into the chat area of the app instead of the ticket because the devs couldn’t be bothered to maintain the redirect path in the state query param. It’s a nightmare. We’re switching to Hubspot. Their app does not have these auth problems.
The company livechat is actually pretty great been using them for a couple years. The app is also well done.
