We’ve been using Tidio plugin for a year. It was amazing since last month. We are a very small business. We don’t have budget to pay a premium service so we use its free service and we were happy with it. It was enough service for us because we don’t need bot messages. Suddenly a pop up occurred on the screen every 2 seconds!!! What is going on every 2 seconds??? They are just trying you not to use free version, they are trying to make you pay money otherwise they will block everything! I am not lying I believe most of you who use free version see that. It is like crazy! Every 2 seconds! You cannot write to your customer, you cannot read! They started to blur our customers emails when they enter their email to create a ticket - they blur the ticket, conversation, customers’ messages, all ticket screen! just because you exceeded 50 conversation limit. The thing is we don’t use your bots! We manually join the conversation, we write our messages manually. “You” I mean “your bots” don’t work at our website. How can you blur my customers tickets??? With this kind of bad attitude and bad intentions of your company, we will not purchase anything to use your product. This is my first review for an app. We will definitely switch to another plugin and I am willing to pay for their services but not for Tidio!!! Never and ever. I do not recommend. Do not use Tidio!
I’ve been building WordPress sites for many years. I use all sorts of plugins, both free and paid. I needed a free live chat feature and tried a few other plugins. They sucked. Then I tried Tidio. From the ease of use on my site, to the customizable options, along with the app this is thee best integration I’ve seen in years. I had a question and their customer service got back to me in less than an hour. I was in awe. I hope Tidio continues to be free with the same level of support and usability they have now. If you need a live chat feature on your website this is the best free one out there.
This is one if the best apps on Shopify! The chat feature works flawlessly and the automation bots are too cool! I’m still on the trial plan and set up a few automation bots that trigger a customers question along with giving them a few options when I’m not online. With a Shopify store there are a few that are setup for you. You just activate or you can create your own. Easy to setup and they provide a extensive ebook with suggestions, how to step by steps with screen shots. It looks like once you are out if the paid plans you will be charged according to automation bots accessed by visitors. I will update my review after getting on a paid plan and using for a month. Oh and support is awesome! They respond in their chat but also send a email asking if you need help setting up. Very responsive. I highly recommend trying the app to see if you love it as much as I do.
