LingoLooper: AI Language Game

I grew up speaking French when I was really little and as I got older I lost my fluency completely. For the last 10 years I have been trying to relearn French and reconnect with that part of who I am, but I have always struggled to find a method that was advanced enough for me (since I had the basics drilled down), but not too advanced (because I could hardly form a real sentence). I even moved to Paris to truly “immerse” myself in learning the language. Within the first 8 months of living there my comprehension improved a lot but my speaking was still stuck on freeze mode because I didn’t feel confident speaking. Then, I found LingoLooper and WOW!!! It has been like finding a key that unlocks every vocab word, grammar rule, and irregular verb that I had collected in so many years of failed learning attempts. My French has improved by thousands since I’ve been using it, and every single time I use it I feel more and more confident in my speaking. It’s immersive and fun while still being really effective. I cannot say enough good things about this app. I highly recommend!!

There’s less of that deer-in-the headlights word paralysis because multiple features are there to guide you. Realistic Conversations – begin immersive language learning with scenarios you would encounter if you were travelling. Recaps – list the entire conversation for review & pinpoint opportunities for improvement. Prompts – offer suggestions to model in future responses & grammar pointers on the conversation. Individualized Pacing – adjusts to your learning curve so there’s a chance to absorb information without being overwhelmed. Gamification Component – is a fun way to jumpstart dedicated practice. Remarkable Customer Support – Who would expect the co-founder to be answering my questions at 5 am? Well, that’s the way they do it at LingoLooper. Pretty sweet!

Lingolooper is an app you come across only every once in a blue moon. I’ve been trying forever to find a way to seriously immerse myself with the languages I want to learn and have genuine / meaningful conversations. Not only can I have conversations with “local avatars” even if I’m just starting to learn a language, I can also take everything at my own pace and actively note down everything (+download transcripts!) so I can practice later. I’m genuinely addicted to this app, like I would be to a video game AND it’s educational. The layout is approachable and honestly nostalgic for me. It makes a lot of sense why you have to pay a subscription fee for this app, it’s obvious the developers have put a lot of thought, energy and creativity into the design and experience. Y’all should ditch Duolingo, this app is everything you’d want and more, it’s sooooo worth it. Thank you Lingolooper team for making this cool app!!
