Pacify: Doula & Lactation Care

As a first time mom navigating the challenges of breastfeeding, the pacify app has been one of my greatest resources. The ability to quickly speak to a lactation consultant is invaluable. In order to connect with someone through my hospital or doctors office or LC group, the process is always such a pain, but pacify allows you to have someone virtually on call anytime you need help. I’ve been able to quickly ask about latch issues, get advice for pumping, and just talk though changes in breastfeeding.

Pacify is the best thing we could’ve done for our daughter. My husband and I are both nurses, but wanted to give up breastfeeding so many times. Each and every time we felt that way we reached out to the lactation consultants with this app and ended each call feeling reinvigorated to keep going. I am happy to say we made it 14 months on our breastfeeding journey and have a happy, healthy baby girl! Thank you to all the consultants and to the designers of this app- it worked every time without fail and gave us the opportunity to have the needed healthcare we normally do not have access to living in rural America.

This app is amazing and absolutely worth it! Ask your insurance company if they cover it but if they don’t, rest assured that this is worth the money! The FaceTime hasn’t been glitchy at all and the guidance and advice given has been so reassuring, and you need that as a new mommy sometimes! All babies are different. My first had none of these issues, so to experience issues now as a second time mom can be so nerve racking!! This app is a life saver in times of despair! Lol really tho
