Gregory’s is across the street from our hotel, so we tried it for the sake of convenience. We stayed with it every day of our NYC vacation because it’s so, so good! The coffee, yes … house and Guatemala drip are our faves. The green protein smoothie, energy shots, house-made anything … all prepared and offered with so much attention to health and vitality through food and COFFEE. I have to talk about the CUTE cups. The peepers on Mr. Gregory made me smile every morning as I fueled up for busy days in the city. Please open a Gregory’s in KC! Highly recommend … whether you’re across the street or have to travel for the good stuff. These peeps will keep your body ready for whatever the day brings!

I have a love and hate relationship with coffee places in general, in New York City typically, but mostly towards new coffee places. Simply put- they tend not to disappear almost right after they’ve won you over. Today is my very first time at Gregory’s Coffee (42nd ST, near Chrysler’s building.) I walked in there for ANY coffee excuse to use their free wifi…I was won over instantly! My general skepticism towards new coffee places is based on the pure fact that most of them don’t answer to my basic question: the inherently crucial “why,” yet, another coffee place? Well, Gregory’s coffee answers that “why.” F with them! I do.

Today is my second visit to any Gregory’s Coffee location. Yesterday was my first. A friend brought me to the 6th Avenue location, and I ordered the Biscotti testarossa. I expected the average super sweet, mediocre-at-best coffee drink. I was in disbelief. I said to my friend, “You have to taste this. It’s actually good. I mean, it’s outstanding.” He looked at me like I had just arrived to watch yesterday’s game. “Uh yeah. I know.” Well, I didn’t and so if you haven’t tried Gregory’s biscotti testarossa, you must. It’s divine. Service is good. People are nice and the store is clean. No negatives.
