I downloaded despite poor reviews and can confirm this is rubbish. The best thing I can say is it’s easy to log in and if that’s the best thing about an app the bar is quite low. It doesn’t crash or anything, it just doesn’t do much. It’s pointless. Ima not sure what the ‘thank’ button next to the (incomplete) list of supporters is supposed to do? Virgin branding as always is overwhelming. While I’m on the subject, Virgin giving in general is way behind JustGiving. I wish I’d have used that as I’ve done in the past. Shan’t be using Virgin again.
The fact that this app never updates the total is a real pain! What’s the point in an app to keep track of fundraising if the app doesn’t even keep itself up to date with funds raised!! You can’t change anything about your money giving page via the app, it’s literally there to keep track. This wouldn’t be a problem if it just did what it was set out to do!
The ability to quickly and easily thank people who donate via Social Media is really useful. Instant notifications when a donation is received is also very useful. This simple little app does exactly what it needs to and it does it well.
At Virgin Money Giving we believe everyone can change the world, one challenge at a time. Our new app is designed with one thing in mind: to help you...
