Update (5/4/26): wow, now it's completely broken. Title screen appears saying it needs to download assets, but when I tap Continue, it says it failed. Same result every time, even after deleting and reinstalling. Way to go Stoneblade. I've been a fan of the game since it's original iOS version years ago, but this new one is SO riddled with bugs. Even the bug reporter is buggy! 🤦‍♂️ I've only played the Steam version a couple times, and I don't remember it being this bad (but maybe I didn't play it enough). This was released too early.

Would rate this game 5 stars as I think the concept is amazing and I’ve played a little in paper. However it doesn’t work on my iPhone. The tutorial works but otherwise it crashes when loading the opening screen and I can’t get past that. It’s been nearly 3 weeks since I’ve downloaded the game and still no fix. Maybe if it’s fixed to playable I’ll come redo my review and stars.

I have been waiting for this to come out and am so excited! Solforge is the type of universe where you -not only- connect with so many different people across the world, but connect with its CHARACTERS! Can’t wait to dive deep and have it available in the digital realm, not just on the board. *even tho I love seeing the expressions of the face of my challenger’s demise* muahahah! 🧙‍♂️💥
