Beware. This is a classic bait and switch scheme. I purchased access to this app for 30 dollars. I received my “welcome” email on May 9th. There was no mention of a recurring charge. For exactly 3 days I received multiple emails trying to upsell me, then nothing, no reminders, no support. Probably because I didn’t upgrade, which was beyond my budget. Needless to say, life happened, illness happened. I didn’t even use the app beyond setting it up because there was no follow up or support. On August 3, I woke up to a charge of almost $160 dollars. No email or text warning of this. I had to find and reupload the app, and it was difficult to find where to cancel it. I was eventually able to. I sent an email to customer support explaining the situation and received what is probably an automated message with a fake name telling me there was nothing they could do, as “I truly wish I had a different answer, but I’m not able to process a refund for this charge. Under our policy for digital services, subscription renewals are final once processed, and I’m unable to override that.” I asked if there was someone else that this could be escalated to, and I basically received the same message back with a couple words changed. I scoured the app for any mention of their “non-introductory” fee was, no luck. There are many comparable apps that are a fraction of the cost of this one. At $160 for 3 months, that’s approximately $53 a month. Absolutely ridiculous. Almost twice what I pay for a gym membership with machines, pool, sauna, steam room, exercise classes, whirlpool. Furthermore, the company that owns or runs this app is not in the US, so you cannot file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

I truly hate leaving bad reviews, but when you contact them within 24 hrs to request a refund and they won’t work with you. I don’t want to see others waste their money on something that’s not different than others. You can’t view the program prior to purchase. Once you purchase you see its a lot like all the others out there that you paid for. Even when you realize this in a 24 hr timeframe and request a refund, it’s a sorry about your luck. It’s very sad and disappointing.

This app and its related subscription is a complete sham. What you are promised, for your hefty subscription cost, is a well designed, guided series of workouts in a program designed for your specific needs. What you get is exactly eight nicely shot exercise videos, complete with narrated instructions, with music and audio cues. After the eight, (which would, coincidentally, take you to one day past your seven day trial evaluation period,) you then get nothing but exercise videos with no sound at all. No narrated instructions and, most importantly, no sound cues. If you are doing an exercise for 60 seconds, there is no audio cue telling you that you are moving on your the next exercise. If you are not staring at the screen the whole time (which you should not be doing if you wish to perform the exercises properly, you will have no way to know when you finished. You can’t even view the videos in full screen mode. I have tried my fair share of exercise apps and have never encountered such a scam. This is nothing more than bait and switch. I’m sure it is a successful money grab for the makers of the app, but it is of no practical use for anyone. It is, simply designed to trick people into signing up for an expensive subscription and providing and the providing those subscribers with a product completely different than advertised. No one should touch this app with a ten foot pole.
