HARNA: Workout & Fitness

I downloaded this app in October and paid the trial fee. It did not work well for me, but I am chronically ill and knew it would be a long shot anyway. So I deleted the app. Then last week I was charged $70 because that “trial” was a subscription. I never received a reminder email, never even a confirmation of payment email, just found a weird unexpected charge on my PayPal account. I emailed them as soon as I saw it to try and get a refund since this clearly seemed to be a mistake. They jerked me around all day telling me they would refund me but making me all kinds of “better offerings” to try to convince me to stay. I told them the program just didn’t work for me and I would just like a refund every time. Then finally after I refused everything, they said that there was a place on the app (that I no longer had) that said something about it being an automatic renewal and so they don’t owe me anything! So sneaky!!! How was I supposed to see that if I don’t have the app! Why didn’t they email with a reminder like most other subscriptions do??? Now I am out another $70 for a program that didn’t do anything for me and that my Physical Therapist told me to stop using! If you are at all disabled or chronically ill, DO NOT get this app, you don’t need more unhelpful, frustrating, money grabbing piranhas in your life! And the workouts just cause flair ups anyway because they are NOT designed with us in mind no matter what they say!

So, I was very apprehensive when signing up. However, I truly so enjoyed the first workout. It was soothing with the gentleman that was teaching me. It didn’t last long for my first, thank goodness! But at least I started!! Super excited!! I have lupus, fibromyalgia, DDD, severe spine and neck issues, and. Tarlov cyst on S3 that irritates & can cause more inflammation in the nerves of my spine. Today was great!!! I will continue to work with this app to hopefully relieve a lot of the pain I live with on a daily basis. AND I’m even going to incorporate the food changes. If you are in the fence, don’t wait! I will keep you updated. I think I log my progress on TT, we will see if I am brave enough. I CAN DO HARD THINGS! Have a blessed day!! Honestly, I never write reviews, but this is ridiculous. I was suggested the quiz for this app on google so I decided to take it and then when I was urged to buy a package to use the app I thought maybe it could be helpful so I purchased the package for $15 because it was “on sale.” The very next page urged me to get the “extra package” for $50 which I did not want to pay, so I tried to search for a button that allows you to skip to the next page and there was nothing that allowed me to do that! I thought maybe if I clicked the button for the package I could just cancel the transaction when it asks me to pay (I used apple pay) but no, it immediately charged my card. I emailed the support email to get a refund, which I was happy to hear back from, but fair warning, you are not going to talk to a real person, they utilize ai (which they are transparent about in the email) which is fine but slightly annoying not talking to a real person. Thank you if you read this and I recommend trying a different app that doesn’t force you to buy extra expensive packages if you don’t have money to spend willy nilly. The nike pro app is a great app with great workouts of all types that I used to use for a long time! And it can be used for free.
