I was excited by the ad stating I would get a custom fasting schedule designed from the answers on the questionnaire. So I answered and paid and downloaded the app. It took all of two minutes to see that there is nothing personalized and it is no better than what I’ve been doing with intermittent fasting for the last three years. What a waste of money! Now I’m seeing warnings about this app being a scam and people being charged $60 for canceling their subscription and still being charged again for another six months. This is a reprehensible business practice. I cancelled immediately, knowing there will not be a refund, but I certainly better not be charged anything more for only looking at the app for a few minutes.
I thought this was BEYOND the IT I already knew how to do. The intake puts you through all sorts of questions that lead you to believe there will be some guidance on how to make IT more effective for your body situation and type, but I bought the 3 mos. intro and could see right away that by declining the multiple purchase options that followed that, I ended up with a very basic start time/stop time IT daily tracker, and nothing more. It's disappointing and I will be canceling; chalking it up to an online program money grab.
I downloaded the app for a reduced trial cost. After trying it out and realizing it wasn’t what I was looking for, I cancelled my subscription (within days of the original download, well before the next billing date) and deleted the app. Months later, a full charge was made to my account, despite me double checking and finding that I had successfully cancelled my subscription months previously. Customer service stated that since I didn’t have screen shots confirming that I’d cancelled my subscription—why would I need to take screenshots at the time of cancellation if I’m dealing with an honest, ethical company?!—they wouldn’t refund my account. They also stated that they emailed me to notify me of impending charges the week before my account was charged, but I did not receive an email, not in my spam, junk, or standard inboxes. This is whole thing is a scam. In addition to providing a subpar service not worth the $10 trial fee, they store your payment information and make unauthorized payments, even after subscription cancellation.
