If I'm being honest this app needs a lot of technical work, it's not the most flushed out and user experience isn't amazing. For example it often takes a while to update fitness levels for a given day and the leaderboard is sometimes glitched. Also the UX design for replying to comments is pretty bad. However, the don't die community is so amazing. It's incredible how you can post something about health and fitness and get quality responses from multiple people's perspective. The concept of the app is great and I hope it continues to grow.

Installed the app, read the Privacy Policy, removed the app. I like the idea very much, but this narrative of giving away for free all my health conditions and even genetic data so that it can be shared with any “vendors, advertising networks, affiliates” and presenting the concept like “we have to show it off, and not hide” is, with all respect, a wrong turn. One thing is that Bryan shares this data - he has his benefits and his income basically because of this, other thing - requesting everybody sharing this data, technically for free, and probably in the future - for a fee, direct or indirect, as a result of targeting ads and manipulations. To be firm, you have to shift your focus to protection and transparency.

This is a well-designed app to focus on health and social context, I’m excited to see the future developments for the health analysis. I’m sure they can become progressively advanced knowing Bryan Johnson is backing the project. I’m hoping that the advanced features will remain free even as the app develops, there is a storefront for some of the health related products that Bryan Johnson sells, which is encouraging because it could support the development without gating valuable features. Very impressive early deployment for the dev team, keep up the good work!
