musicat: Music, Stats, Reviews

Genuinely one of the best apps to track music listening. As a stats nerd being able to break it down the ways that this app lets you is extremely satisfying. Being able to see peoples posts on there and post yourself makes it feel less like just an app but a community. Right now I am only giving the app four stars mainly because the way older tracks get handled and tracked can be wonky due to songs often being applied to multiple albums. I wish we could be able to almost apply a song to just one album rather than have their streams split or erased. Other than that this is an amazing app that I use almost daily!!

I can’t say enough great things! Recently had a large number of friends migrate to this app for…reasons…and I’m loving it so far! -UI is great, intuitive, and gives the information you really want -There is a posting function and the community on the app is excellent. Vibes are great! -Translation feature is a nice touch! -Support is super communicative even as the influx of new users bogs down their system. Status pages are up to date and delays in data communication are communicated via pop ip on the stats page. This gives me so much confidence they will get it up and running as more people move over.

The app is coming along wonderfully, and is already really well done! If I were to give notes- I wish writing a review and searching up music was a bit smoother/easier. Like maybe the button for posting a note could also have a “look up album (or song)” option, from which you could then write your review and rating? I’m also unsatisfied by the way you just @ the title of the song as if it’s another user. I wish it showed like a little card of the song or whatever; something more visually appealing and satisfying. All that being said, I’m excited to use the app more and more in the future, keep up the good work- I’m rooting for you!
