This app is enjoyable when it actually works. I love looking at my weekly status report and competing with myself to get higher numbers. However, there has been a consistent issue where scrobbles will not be collected for days at a time. When the app starts logging again, it does not input the majority of what was played over the missing days. Every other week (at best) I lose a few days worth of data. I have tried many things and it still remains an issue. Unfortunately this has defeated the purpose of the app for me because of how inaccurate it makes the stats.

It’s really sad to see this happen, and it’s over one really horrible idea that I genuinely have no clue who thought it was good. The issue is that you get animated album covers in your list of scrobbles, and it’s a cool update, if it didn’t completely crash the app everytime you try to open it. But hey! What if they have a setting to disable that, it would solve all the issues! Well you’re out of luck, I wouldn’t even know if there is a setting because the app is completely dysfunctional the moment you open it and crashes within 10 seconds, or 20 if you’re on low power mode. Please remove this or find a way to optimize it for devices. And if anyone’s curious, I have an iPhone 13, so it’s not a crappy device that’s the issue here.

The app itself is fine at least for the most part. My issue stems from the fact that at least two different albums in my Apple Music library refuse to be counted when I listen to them (both by the same artist). I've had this issue with other songs on certain occasions but normally it's just a delay and they get counted later on. The two albums in question have been deleted and re-added over and over and it still won't work. Going back to a third party app now because the official iPhone app never fails to disappoint
