As someone who loves music, I would never not have this app. I love it. But inexplicably sometimes, it says the data isn’t available and I have a solid wifi or network connection. Also - it registers a song I use as an alarm as a track played. So that track is always my #1 played. :(
Do NOT get this app. It’s broken. My top songs get deleted and recounted from scratch even when I’ve streamed hundreds of times and they are years / months old. The say they’re “working on a fix” but for many songs it has been over a year. Albums also split and have inaccurate data. Sometimes I’ll stream a song and it gets combined to a complete random song on the album. Like what?? Also some songs come up as completely random unheard of artists, and then when they “fix” it it just stays there and starts a complete new song. Huh?!! To think I PAY for this app and they still have all these glitches that ruin it is beyond ridiculous. And it’s all their fault, cause you literally upload data that is FROM Apple themselves. It’s the fact that the developers cannot fix the bugs, even after years and years of claiming they will. Many songs have been broken for YEARS. Yes, years. Even though they claim they’re aware of the issue and will fix it, they clearly don’t. It also continues to break even more. Me and many of my friends are moving to a different music app. And if you’re thinking about STATSFM, I’d recommend you go elsewhere too. It’s not worth it. Even if it works for a bit, trust me, after a few weeks it will break and your data will be entirely inaccurate, which is ridiculous when it is based off YOUR OWN files and you PAY FOR THIS APP!! Get a new developer and actually learn to FIX your app instead of lying as it continues to get worse. And do not waste your money on a subscription to this app- because as a paying customer I am experiencing these same issues.
I like the app a lot but now it’s giving an error saying I need to update the app on both my phone and my iPad. I have fully confirmed on both devices that I am fully up to date but the pop up will not go away and I cannot access any app features. I really don’t want to have to uninstall and reinstall the app because the importing process was not a fun process. If this can be fixed, my review would be moved to a 5 star. Thanks!
