Reviews: What People Think About Martial Law

It’s a great game, the story makes you feel bad for the main character and you have many choices about how you spend the day. Only problem I have is that the endings kind of… end. I know that sounds weird, but for the first ending it just ends on a piece of dialogue. I’d love to see a continuation of the story but overall it’s still a good game.

At first, I didn't have high expectations for this game. However, out of boredom, I decided to download it and give it a try. Initially, I struggled to understand how to play, but within a minute or two, I got the hang of it. As a big history geek, I was quickly immersed and impressed by the historical accuracy and information presented.
The actions of the NPCs were notably realistic—they spoke and behaved in a manner consistent with real people, which added a lot to the immersion. Although I was initially disappointed that the game ended quickly, I discovered that there were multiple endings. Each one was enjoyable, even though finding them was a bit of a hassle.
Overall, this game is quite enjoyable and better than I anticipated. It might benefit from a manual to help new players get started. One of the best aspects of this game is that it's free and still highly enjoyable, which is a rare find.

I really like this game, it’s a fascinating topic. It was much too short. It also has some interface/control quirks that make it confusing to play at first. I hope the developer elaborates on the story, makes it longer, and makes an interface design upgrade and this will be a great game. The art is perfect, the themes are really enhanced by the visuals and audio. Done well, this is exactly the type of game I’m happy to pay for.
