Reviver: Butterfly

Ending tore me up. SPOILERS: I was hoping so bad there was going to be a way in the end to change the past so they could have been together all this time. That’s the only thing I would have changed But this was such a beautiful, fun, aesthetic game. I feel smarter after playing it. It was so cozy. I can’t recommend it enough It’s the best point and click adventure game on the App Store. COMPLETELY underrated.

When I first downloaded the game, I was a little disappointed to see that I had to pay in order to play the whole game cause I thought it was a free game initially however I did pay for the game to play it because it looked super cute and I do not regret it. The game was so cute and all the mini games were so fun. I loved the story about star cross lovers. I was kinda hoping they would fall in love like in their 30s but I really do like the ending of them falling in love when they were older it’s just so cute. I love it. I recommend this game to everyone and I told my friends to just give it a shot and they all love it too so awesome game make some more cause I wanna play more games.

This really is an enjoyable game, with a thoughtful story, beautiful art, and cute minigames. The mechanic of swapping between different years of their lives was enjoyable to play out. The one issue I take is that some of the mini games weren’t the most intuitive, and finding the solutions could be confusing. I did have to resort to an online walkthrough for some of these. Despite this, my overall experience with this game was very positive!
