App Profile: Tandem Mobi® mobile app

I have a lot of thoughts about how to improve this app after living with the Tandem Mobi for months now. These two are the top ones though: -Ability to see what version of iPhone software your app is compatible with, so users know if it is safe to update their phone. PLEASE. -Ability to silence certain notifications; vibrate isn't enough. Being able to choose which notifications make noise and vibrate, GIVEN THAT THEY AREN'T CRITICAL, would be life changing. Especially considering the pump screams the whole time you're in the shower because you've disconnected it!!!!!! It drives me crazy, I know it drives everyone else in my house crazy too! It interrupts class often just to tell me it couldn't connect to my dexcom, which happens disappointingly often. Thank you for reading and taking my thoughts into account. These quality of life features will greatly improve living with the Tandem Mobi.

I was very excited for this insulin pump due to its small size and ability to be worn in different ways compared to the tslim x2. Unfortunately I think tandem has released this pump before it was ready to be used by people. While the small size of the pump is great, the app is not reliable which brings constant headaches to managing my diabetes. Connection will be lost between the app and the pump at least once a day, sometimes up to 10 times a day. The notifications are glitchy and inconsistent (sometimes they will not let you dismiss them or they will vibrate on the pump and not show on the app). The graph which shows blood sugars and daily time in range will only show and update ~20% of the time (sometimes closing and reopening the app will resolve this issue but sometimes it doesn’t). Tandem should not have released this pump before properly testing out the app. Due to the headaches of this app my time in range and A1c have both gotten worse compared to when I was on the tslim x2. I will probably switch back to injections over using this pump until tandem can resolve all of the issues with the app. But the small size of the pump is fantastic and that is the reason I will not consider switching back to the tslim x2.

There has never been an insulin pump that Blind diabetics can use. This has strong possibility since there is no screen and an iPhone app typically is accessible for the voiceover screen reader. I’m asking for Blind diabetics, can you please follow apples developer accessibility guidelines? Can you please look up the documentation and look it over? I am a retired computer programmer having worked in Azure and programming micros services and I would be more than happy to help test the app. Please! Follow Apple developer accessibility guidelines. BTW it is baffling to me that one of the leading causes of blindness in America is diabetic retinopathy and all the insulin pump manufactures have never accommodated this market. can you please provide me a contact number or a contact form that will actually get sent to your developers or a project manager guiding your development teams? Thanks so much!
