Hi there, since this app is very new obviously I don’t expect a complete five star experience first hand, but I am having some issues. Very well put together and organized app, but it will not let me click many of the buttons, and I’m not able to add anything to my profile, all that is there is a list of foods, but the app isn’t really functioning to add any sort of log or plan to try or like/dislike. Is this a common problem? If so, does anyone know if this will be fixed soon? Definitely going to keep the app installed because this seems genuinely useful, but until the app actually works I’m going to have this at a pretty low rating.
Edit: Now that the app has been updated, everything is working smoothly, and is exactly what I’ve been looking for, a helpful ED app, specifically for ARFID. Absolutely love this app and will definitely be using it frequently!

Having something so simple & so straightforward for a “simple” problem is amazing. My issue is “simple”: I’m picky and I want to try new foods but it gets overwhelming. In swoops Pitaya! I’ve only had it a day or two, but I’ve really enjoyed categorizing my foods and reading descriptions of food I want to try. Those are very helpful by the way. I have severe anxiety (ARFID- Avoidant) around trying new foods, new anything really. I hate not knowing what to expect so those descriptions really help.
I’d love in the future to have some sort of “achievement” chart to look at & share. Like “Here are the foods you tried last week/month!” My friends have been very encouraging with this process and I’d love to show off my progress.
The “punch card” idea for trying new food is genius!! They say it can take up to 15x of trying something to truly know if you like it. I like that we can adjust it how we want!! It would be cool to have a diary aspect (tried blueberries this day w/ Jane, tried them this day w/ John at this restaurant). I know there’s a note section but maybe something with more purpose?
Those are just ideas. I really, truly love this app already and think it’s a marvelous idea. Thank you so much 💕🙏

I would like to see a “depends” option for foods. I like burritos when they have specific ingredients, but I don’t eat most of them. I would like the ability to get specific about what foods are in the meals that I eat. Like, omelets/burritos/tacos/etc. Something that notes that I like specific versions of it, but not the food itself. I would also love a flag for issues I have with the food, like a “Texture” flag. The flag would be 3 different colors. Red flags mean it’s a bad texture, yellow is neutral, and green means it’s a good texture. Same with other sensory issues. Sometimes I can’t try things because the smell is too overwhelming, etc. Other than that, this app is so cool and I’m so happy there’s no ads at all. It doesn’t make sense to me why there’s only 15 reviews, but I’ll share this with all of my neurodiverse friends!
