Idle Obelisk Miner

This game has zero ads. That alone should make it the best idler, however it also comes with loads of content. The only downside to this game imo is that theoretically (if you play this game f2p for like 3 years and actually complete most stuff) you’ll never be able to actually 100% because there’s a “card system” and one of the cards you can get is for something called the “founder bomb” which you need to pay like $50 to actually get the bomb. But it’s such a minor gripe, and I’m nowhere close to completing the game regardless, I feel like if I do get to the end I might aswell just pay the $50 lol. Oh, and I guess there is one more thing that some people may find issue with; that being to actually get idle progress you HAVE to have an internet connection, you can just bring your phone on a camping trip and claim your progress every couple of hours, you HAVE to have an internet connection for that for some odd reason, no other idle game has done this that way that I’ve played so I know some people may have a problem with that. Anyways, the games loads of fun, if you enjoy idlers this one is the literal peak; zero ads; if you download I suggest going straight to the wiki for the game cause there’s a good guide for how to progress efficiently, and there’s also a ton of codes you can use to boost your progress early on, or save them for later.

This game is super addictive and I’ve been playing for roughly 6 months and I’m only 30% done with the game. It’s definitely a grind and in my opinion the best idle game on the market. The progress is fairly slow, but the rewards for the grind are well worth it to progress. Currently where I’m at I have to worry about getting my cards guilded, max my stars and their upgrades, grind archeology, and grind the fishing aspect. My only issue is the bug that is in many reviews regarding the 4 square button at the bottom and you having to press it multiple time for it to register, but other than that the game is perfect. The discord for the game is a great community that has helped my countless time when I was unsure on what to do or buy and they have always been very thorough and extremely helpful. I have put so many of my friends on this game and so far everyone has loved and enjoyed playing it. I can’t wait to see what the devs add to the game in the future. If you are new or an existing player I would recommend spending a couple dollars to support the devs and show them that you like the game so they will put more work an add more to the game. If you have read this far remember, the obelisk is the enemy and we need to MINE IT OUT OF EXISTENCE!!!!!!

No joke, this is the best idle game I’ve played, and I’m no stranger to the genre. There are no ads. You couldn’t even watch one if you wanted to. The purchasable options aren’t necessary but they do help. I’ve made a few purchases but only after playing the game a few months and deciding this is the one I want to spend my free time with. Plus, the dev has definitely earned it. The upgrades and challenges make it so that each prestige plays with a different strategy, adding to the long-term enjoyment of the game. And perhaps most importantly: THIS GAME DOESNT MAKE YOUR PHONE GET HOT!!! You aren’t really punished for going offline when you sleep as far as resource collection multipliers go, though optimized play is only possible while leaving the game running on an open phone. This game has so many calculations it must be making in the background but the phone doesn’t get hot, unlike with so much shovelware out there. I really cannot recommend this game highly enough to fans of idle games. Case in point: I think this is the first review I’ve ever left, after more than 10 years of idle game experience.
