Post Apo Tycoon - Idle Builder

Almost every thing is great about the game so far I love the story and gameplay and it’s amazing the fact that you have to always be careful of how much pollution your creating while also being able to get the resources you need to keep upgrading your city’s infrastructure is a great idea of making things more challenging and interesting but the one nitpick I have is the fact that I think pre existing trees should be better than trees you plant yourself because they are younger and don’t produce as much as a fully grown forest can also I think swamps should also reduce the amount of pollution made one swamps have tons of plants algae and fauna that live in them that makes oxygen so it should make logical sense that they should reduce pollution not by much but enough to where it’s worth preserving them and not destroying them but otherwise it’s a really great game!

Re-Review. I can’t spend tons of cash on games which means my enjoyment playing Tycoon’s and Idle builders has a shelf life of a few days because that’s when the ads become unbearable, NOT THIS GAME. I’ve been playing this for about a month whenever I have a couple free moments and as I learn more about it I’ve started over a few times as I learn what upgrades are important to do and when I should do them what to spend gems on and what not to and it’s a cost saving strategy that works well in most games but never more than it helps me in this one. The ads are fewer than other similar games but they all positively impact the game in significant ways and you’ll look forward to them rather than dreading them. You could literally play 24 hours everyday and never run out of things to do even without spending tons of real money which is astounding to me and the technologies buildings abilities you gain as you progress means you’ll never get bored no matter how much money you spend on it. All tycoons are spend to win to some degree but if you do spend money on this one you won’t immediately get buyers remorse because you didn’t get as big a boost as you thought you would but you will actually get more than you expected nearly every time you do.

I really wanted to like this game. Many great elements, innovative and fun, makes me want to explore the whole map. I’m usually willing to kick a few dollars a game’s way, too. But this one nickels and dimes you for incredibly tiny rewards, so I haven’t spent anything. Too greedy! You could easily spend thousands of dollars, as everything interesting (including most QoL upgrades) costs gems. Same with clicking… increasing amounts of clicking for smaller and smaller rewards. The first event I got was fun but soon became tedious and I realized I wasn’t going to get anywhere useful without hours each day of clicking. Like, I get enough of that IRL, work harder for less, pay more for worse. I don’t need that in my escapism. Also the ecosystem rebuilding and story is very interesting. But then it requires you to… flatten hills and drain swamps? That is not the way we’ll repair the environment, that is how Earth got screwed up to begin with. It kinda feels like it was made by two developers, one that actually cared about user experience, and one that got greedy, where they could have had me spending ten or twenty bux to have a really great time for weeks and weeks, to one that thought for some reason I had $2,000 to spare and was willing to pay it in order to click less. No, that is NOT the real world. The Golden Goose is starved already! We don’t have any more to give.
