This app is absolutely amazing! I was trying to order glasses online, but my prescription did not have my PD listed. After brief research, I came across this app, and when I tell you I had my results in less than 1 minute! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick and easy way to find their PD. I ran this several times. It would just sit there telling me to improve light conditions. I have professional film lights that I use for my film class. I was sitting facing a large window with plenty of natural light. I finally got it to start the measurement but it froze a few times. Start over again and it still tells me to improve light conditions. It doesn’t get better than facing natural sun light. After numerous attempts I was able to three reading. They were different from each other. Now I don’t trust the measurement. This can’t be accurate if I get different measurements. Impossible. Headed to a shop to get my measurements. Forget this app. It’s garbage.

I wasn’t sure what a PD was so just used this app to calculate it for me. Took less than 15 seconds from download. Turns out my doctor had written it as pupillary distance on my prescription already and this app came up with the same measurement, so definitely feel more re-assured about it. I like that this app doesn’t ask me for 500 personal information questions. Just does it’s job and gives me my results. Discount at the end of the exam is a nice touch tho!
