After the most recent patch implemented for the app, debris fields are no longer clickable in app. You can see that they are there but cannot see how much or quickly send ships to them. The trader tab in app has also been broken for a long time. You cannot access the scrapyard for any planet but the Homeworld, cannot access the auctioneer at all or get any of the universe rewards outside of web browser. I play primarily on app so having to log on via my phone browser is difficult and time consuming. Please fix this as I know it’s a great game that I’ve been playing since 2002. I was hoping that there would be a points barrier between the truly massive players that are 300 million points ahead of myself but once you get past that newbie cap, those Goliath's can very easily bully you just because they can. Make no mistake, it’s free to play but pay to win. Even the rank one in my universe gets banned for bullying or bashing but only for a day or 2 after several instances of rule breaking. My universe is almost barren because the rank one throws thousands of dollars into the game then bully’s other players into quitting or V mode. I understand the game very well now but if one player can break a server….why am I playing?

I appreciate the efforts being put into making a mobile version of the game. It makes it more enjoyable compared to the zooming and scrolling of the desktop version in a mobile browser. There are some points though that make the app unusable compared to the web version on the phone. If these could be addressed that would be great and I’d prefer to use the app if some were addressed. 1. Dispatch fleet is still broken for me after the latest update. I’ve been able to use the button 1 out of every 3 to 4 tries and usually end up restarting the app to get it to work. For someone doing expeditions and fleet saves this bug makes the app unusable. 2. The bottom menu buttons used to be customizable but I’m not sure if that feature changed because I can’t seem to figure out how to move fleets or other options to the main menu and customize it like previous versions. If this functionality is there a little tip or hint would be helpful. 3. When clicking fleets for a moon or planet it would be nice to show the quantity of that particular fleet with a dispatch option like in the desktop app. Right now it just goes to fleet movement with the option to dispatch. 4. Rewards are missing from the app. When there is rewards week it’s required to use the desktop version to complete tasks and collect rewards. This would be nice to have in app next to inventory if possible. 5. Build icons are missing from the planet / moon view while in list mode. This is a nice feature to see active construction but not a deal breaker. Overall the look and feel of the app is enjoyable and just hoping to see more functionality implemented.

Overall, the game runs just fine on the application. The UI is pretty easy to figure out if you’re familiar with the browser version. Some things aren’t as clear cut though, which is part of the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. For example, it took me a while to figure out how to use a jump gate on my moon via mobile. I also wish that the resource market functions were all working. It’d be nice to do auctions on mobile. The last big gripe I have is that it can take a while for the game to refresh itself when you send ships from planet to planet to and from a moon. I usually have to close my app and reopen it for the game to stop telling me that I have no ships on a planet when I know that I do because I just sent them there. Otherwise the ability to play this game on mobile is unparalleled for flexibility. I actually prefer playing mobile than browser, they just need to fix a few more problems before it’ll get the full 5/5.
