P2W is in every game like this, get over it. If you thought any different it is on you. Beginner tutorial needs revamped. Biggest issue I have is stamina usage coupled with components. It takes hours to produce components for your 5 fleets. Basically if you are in a huge battle and lose your main fleets you aren’t fighting anymore because you are waiting for components to be produced. But it might not matter because you burn stamina for every move your fleet makes making them exhausted before a battle as you return to stations to get components. Some serious down time in between one battle.

I’m in a large corp alliance with a lot of longtime players and friends. We’ve all moved through the season together from the first season. A lot of us dumped a lot of money into the game to play together. Developers announced the next serve merge, had it setup for all of us to move together to ONE server, then suddenly pulled the carpet and changed it to two servers and split our alliance without notification. Many other players have had similar issues and have reached out to CCP on the official EGC Discord server.
GMs and Devs condescended to the players and blamed us for “misunderstanding” what was clearly written in the original server merge message, then refused to address the issues the players have brought forward. Despite a nearly game wide uproar the Devs have refused to adequately address issues and have gaslighted players instead.
This is not the first time something like this has occurred. Many players have are abandoning the game to take their money elsewhere. Suggest you do the same.

This game is pretty terrible. I played it since release to the US market. Haven’t put a dollar into it. And it shows. Every fleet I have is out matched by one that is able to be paid for. The ‘lottery’ system for earning upgrade on ships is awful if you are not able to drop 20 tickets in one of your chances of winning a decent ship/character is low. And even if you win a character you need to win it again to upgrade it… dumb… you can easily tell the P2W players are all that are left in the later season. Truthfully my biggest regret is the time I wasted thinking I could play an overcome the p2w but now seeing this “Christmas Deal” it shows that this game is dying and they need any last minute money grab they can get. Do better CCP, but not surprised… wouldn’t waste the time an energy to play this game, unless you are ready to pay at least $50USD to have a chance.
