I don’t think I’ve ever left a review but when a dev reaches out to you personally and ask about a bug you mentioned in the chat then you gotta drop a review. Gameplay wise, it’s a really fun game where there’s a good balance of idle and in game things to do. It can be a bit overwhelming at first but there’s a really great tutorial tab that goes into great detail to explain a lot of core mechanics of the game, and if that doesn’t quite give you the info you need then the community is the next best thing. They are some of the coolest, most non-toxic people I’ve seen in a mobile game so far. I haven’t had a negative experience yet to say the least. Staying on the topic of community, there clan system or should I say gang is top notch really makes you feel part of a group and you really have to work together to stay a float. All in all really live the game and it isn’t a game that you have to spend a lot of time on to enjoy but you’ll end up finding yourself stuck in it after a few hours of play time. -Mag
Okay, so I’ve been playing the game for like a total of like two days, cumulatively, maybe 5 hours at the low end estimate, so far for a text based RPG, it is a solid 8/10 there are some elements I’m seeing early on that hint that the game, later on, could be a bit grindy, for some that could be a bad thing. I however am only level 10. I’ll let that paint that picture for you. While I haven’t devoted a ton of time, I could imagine that could scare off a few people. But remember this, it’s a MMO, it’s designed from what I could tell with the motif that you’ll be playing with a group of friends, met some random people online that you (may, or may not.) bond with. I’ve mostly been going at it solo, cause let’s face it. If you can’t enjoy the first few levels solo, you most likely won’t enjoy the game with friends. Especially since the game is 80% text based. The rest is tucked into a sweet little GUI, the fact that you (or anyone) can update an items lore page to give it some flavor. Very nice touch. Support the developer. The Potato. From what I’ve gathered has poured a decent bit of heart into the game, it shows. All in all, it’s a really solid game, if you enjoy classic MUDs, Text based MMO’s and a from what I see, possible later game PVP? I’m not sure I’ll update that when and if I see it. 8/10 from a solo perceptive, 9/10 if you have a solid friend group that likes these styles of games, or if you get lucky with randoms. I’d maybe swing to 9.5/10 if there is pvp.
*I don’t normally write reviews so apologies if this review seems scatterbrained* I’m enjoying my time casually playing through this game. I’m definitely someone who likes seeing my characters stat go up and this game provides that for many many levels. The Dev seems pretty engaged and I’ve seen him in the in-game chat a few times. He has vowed to keep the game free of Pay-to-Win micro transactions by allowing players to purchase cosmetic subscriptions and buying boosts that benefit everyone playing at the time. I’d actually say I wish this game had cosmetics that I could purchase that stay on my account. To my knowledge, you lose your cosmetics when you cancel your subscription no matter the tier. I’d like to be able to hold onto those features you unlock but I understand people would do it once and stop. The app itself is visually pleasing, as well. Even though I like the minimalistic style of the app, I would love some artwork for the enemies I’m fighting instead of the grey silhouette. Maybe some stylized artwork for the enemies would fit the design of the app. (The game “Valorant” agent artwork comes to mind). Anyways, this being my first text based game and having no experience in the genre, my opinion may no lend too much but I really enjoy the game as of now and look forward to whatever the Dev adds to it in the future.
