I am new to wearing hearing aids. Adjustment to wearing them is easy. Self charging is a game changer—none of those tiny batteries. Costco testing, service after owning the aids is outstanding. And pricing makes it affordable. My husband has severe hearing loss. He has worn hearing aids for 10 years priced from $6,000 to the current $1,700 ones from Costco. His also recharge (he has a separate case he packs when traveling). His ENT doctor was totally in agreement with purchasing and servicing from Costco. Don’t wait. Take charge of your life and get hearing aids.

I have an Apple Watch cellular/gps. There are many time I want to leave my phone behind and use only my watch. This helps reduce screen time and distractions. Clearly, I am not using my watch to its fullest capability in this format and actually carry the watch in a “Tiny Pod” case (excellent gadget!) making my watch a “mini iPhone”. My hearing aids do not access music or the telephone on the Apple Watch without the phone being nearby and the app open. This completely defeats the purpose of trying to be connected and being able to hear without having to be completely reliant on having my phone with me. I would love to be able to go for a walk, listen to my music and answer calls without having to lug my phone with me all the time. Please develop a stand alone app for the Apple Watch that does NOT rely on being connected to an iPhone.

I have been using Jabra hearing aids for several years and I have had continuous problems keeping my hearing aids connected to my iPhone and problems switching between apple devices. The problem got worse when I upgraded my iPhone to a 14. I thought maybe since my hearing aids had reached the end of the warranty period that I should upgrade my hearing aids as well. I got my new Jabra hearing aids about 2 weeks ago and the connectivity problem is even worse. Since I use this phone for business and I am constantly mobile driving in a vehicle or working in the field not being able to use the iPhone through my hearing aids deems this aspect of the hearing aids less than a one star. I truly wish I hadn’t spent the money purchasing a new pair of hearing aids through Jabra and I had found a different brand that works better. I do not recommend..

The Enhance Pro app lets you control your hearing aids directly from your mobile device. You can change programs, and make simple or more advanced sound adjustments and save them as favorites. The app helps you learn what you can do and how to do it. It can even help you find your hearing aids if you lose them. Last, but not least, you can have your hearing care professional update your hearing aid programs and send you new hearing aid software without taking a trip to the clinic.
