I first heard about TM in a brochure at college. This was when the first major studies had been published (1971) and I loved the precise nature of the research. Unfortunately I was caught up in the 70’s , health and family issues and did not learn until 1981-I am in my 45th year now and enjoy TM’s freshness and elegance as though it were the first time! My teacher was on the same 1970 course with Prudence and traveled many years with Maharishi, making TM available around the world. I have overcome many, many obstacles in my life due to my dogged persistence with the TM technique. I live effortless being every day, filled with an ever freshness that is priceless. And knowing that my contribution to our world family for world peace is the best I can do, I maintain a river of purpose that extends to eternity. My life is fun, blissful, successful, meaningful, joyful, creative, intelligent, healthy, abundant and wise…all achieved without strain. Had I chosen the path of effort and suffering, I would be way back down the road. My gratitude extends from the great rishis who cognized this great knowledge to every custodian throughout the ages, all the teachers and students and especially to Maharishi and Guru Dev for bringing this effortless, healing, rejuvinating technique to this age.
I’ve been practicing TM since August 2023. TM has been amazing for me but this app takes it to another level. The library of resources is so useful. If you need a refresher or want to learn more about how others are using the practice, it’s just a click away. But to me the app’s best feature is its timer. It is simple yet effective. I use it daily to ensure I get my 20 minutes in. It also has a new feature where you can track how often you meditate (once a day or twice a day) through streaks. This has been a game changer for me and helps me remain consistent. And aesthetically, I love how clean and simple the app looks. No busyness. Helps me focus. Thank you very well done.
This app lovely. It made learning TM remotely very easy. I love the timer feature and the option to turn on or off the sound vibration. It also makes sure your phone doesn’t go to sleep as you’re meditating so you can theoretically continue to check the time throughout. I have one suggestion which is that I wish the library could somehow keep track of the videos and articles that you’ve read already—maybe like in a “read” section, or a symbol or color change on the videos and articles that you’ve already read. It would also be wonderful if you could save things to a favorites folder. Also, a search function for the videos and articles would be great! It really is great. I would be very excited to see a social media feature come up in the future where we could connect with other TMers. Anyways, I’m grateful for this app! It’s already amazing and is full of potential. Thanks!
