rapid! Pay

I’ve used this card now for 4 yrs. now. The online app has improved. I lost my card recently and tried to order one from the app which it advises you to do. I went through all the steps and it didn’t work for me. Ended up having to call customer service which was helpful I thought. After paying for rapid return and no card in the mail, I called back into customer service. The lady I spoke to verified my current address with me and advised me if I hadn’t received it by the end of the day to call back and they would issue and send out a new one a few days later still no card called back to Customer Service. This time I was made aware that my card had been delivered. Only it was to my old address. Apparently when I change the address on my account. That didn’t change the mailing address on my account. Long story short the first agent I spoke to should have told me the first card had been delivered and verified both physical and mailing address if they had of, I wouldn’t had to wait so long for my card. It took me about two weeks to receive it after paying for 1 to 2 day delivery. It really put me in a spot seeing as how my paycheck went on this card. I didn’t have a bank account. At the time, but I do now! Never have all your eggs in one basket! That’s my complaint. Don’t know if that will help anything but have a good day

So I’m not too sure about other cards and if their fees are cheaper, but I live very close to an atm that’s free for me- so I try to always use that and avoid any fees. I love the fact that Rapid actually pays attention to your card activity. I was accidentally charged twice for something and they caught it before I even knew. I’ve never had another card do that automatically corrected it for me. I’ve had it for almost 2 years and don’t work at the company that I started my account with to get my paychecks direct deposit, but I kept the card and love how easy I can pay bills, direct deposit anything, and send money to my family members who have traditional banks (all for free!). You can use pics of checks to deposit. You can even get your tax return deposited on it! I highly recommend if you are tired of big traditional banks, but can do anything else a traditional bank can do. I don’t like dealing with people so the more I can do on my phone app- the better! Good job workers at RapidPay!

I have had countless fraudulent transactions while having never used my card once on any sketchy website, atm’s or gas stations. I have had 4 different cards in 2 months, all with different PIN and log in info, and yes all have been hacked. (I did get my money back which didn’t happen for a few weeks though). I have now opened a cash app account to transfer every cent that hits my rapid pay check account due to my mistrust towards them and ignorance/low-grade security on their behalf. I have transferred my money a few times to my one and only cash app account and now all of a sudden Rapid is holding ALL of my money in an online purgatory rather than authorizing the same exact transfer to the same exact account I’ve used before without having any issues. Now, out of nowhere, an issue arises. Rapid is now telling me it’s going to take up to 5 days to get my money when the first transaction took less than 24 hours and lesser time with each transaction thereafter, until now! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR EMPLOYEES OR FOR A TEMPORARY ACCOUNT WHILE YOU'RE IN BETWEEN BANKS. Either Rapid employees are stealing my money or their security is that garbage that anyone can log in and use your account as their own. To top it all off, the language barrier of 98% of their customer service reps just exaggerates the level of frustration I harbor with this company. I rarely submit reviews and this company definitely deserves a whopping “0” stars in every department possible. Hopefully this helps my peers make a better decision about who to and not to bank with.
