Tapcheck: On-Demand Earnings

Called over a dozen times in over a month. I was told it was fixed. It wasn’t. Put on hold for 3 hours over a week period. I was also put on hold for “just a minute” 30 minutes later I hung up. Sent emails and just get emails back that they have fixed the problem (they didn’t) and closed the ticket. This happened until I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor was the only helpful person I spoke with. The problem got fixed within a few days. It was a unique problem but instead of investigating and trying to fix it, the reps brushed it off. If the supervisor, I’m not mentioning his name so he doesn’t get all the “problem” customers, hadn’t been so polite, professional, empathetic and helpful, I would have left my original 1 star. The 5 star is because of him and the service that tapcheck offers.

This has got to be the worst app imaginable. Id give it negative 5 stars if i could. It took a week after registering for the app after finding out my work was using tapcheck for the message that said unmatched in payroll to go away. Id tried to reach customer service however the stupid ai bot said someone would reach out via email ya that never happened and its been two weeks. It shows ive been working but my hours wont update so i cant transfer anything it just stuck on 0 out of $100 available and when i hit the button to update the hours it only asked about one shift….. no its been two weeks worth of shifts 63 hrs a week that apparently arnt computing with the app. And apparently others are having the same dam issue with this app . I do find it hilarious that the first dozen or so reviews are positive and the star ratings is dam near 5stars yet if you keep scrolling and reading reviews theyre almost all negative with 1 star ratings. My guess is theyre just bots the positive reviews because theres absolutely no way a company who uses an ai bot only to communicate customer service issues can possibly be doing any good. So wish my employer would have gone with a different app because this is just dumb and a waste of soace on my phone.

If I could rate it 0 stars, I wholeheartedly would. I recently started a new job a few weeks ago and made an account for Tapcheck…just to try and login the next day and get told it was, somehow, deactivated. I messaged the support it directed me to and weeks later I still have received no response. The AI is completely unhelpful and utterly useless. It says to give it your info to try and verify your account and fix the issue, but will just ignore said info and make an email request for support. Said email has also been up for at least two weeks and is still being ignored. The AI just keeps updating. I tried calling the number that THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE providers for customer service and support—just to be repeatedly told my call was rejected. I tried calling on a separate number and it claimed that their inbox was too full and that they’d call back later and then they never did. I can’t comment on the actual workings of the app because I haven’t even gotten the chance—they deactivated my account and won’t let me fix the issue and support and help is literally nowhere to be found. I’ve heard several others have had this issue and I would honestly not recommend at all for that alone
