Food Darzee

I signed up with Food Darzee to manage my calorie intake and improve my health, but my experience has been deeply disappointing. Within a few days of starting the plan, I received food that was slightly spoiled. I dismissed it as a one-time issue, but this happened again, and eventually, I received food that was so spoiled it was inedible. Despite escalating the issue to my nutritionist, who was supportive and tried to address the problem with the kitchen, the quality issues persisted. Over a period of 10-15 days, I ended up with an upset stomach that lasted five days and severely affected my health, pushing me weeks behind in my progress. I requested a refund and was connected with management, who agreed to refund the cost of the undelivered food. However, it has been over a week, and I have yet to receive any confirmation about when I’ll get my refund. Despite following up multiple times, I have received no updates. It’s frustrating that a service meant to support my health ended up harming it instead. I would expect a quicker resolution, especially considering the severity of the issues I faced. The lack of response and the delay in processing the refund are unacceptable and have left me with a very negative experience. Update: it’s been more than 15 days, there is no response from the food Darzee team regarding refund. This is completely unethical.

I tried Food darzee for 6 days and that was enough to give an impression that there is no point in continuing with them. Day 1 - I received a meal which was different from what was shown in the app. The only responses that you get from the staff is this had been escalated to the mgmt. Day 4 - Meal delivery is delayed and nobody has bothered informing and my relationship manager doesn’t even respond to calls or msgs. When I finally get my meals it’s only half of them. I get my snack for the day at 8pm and still none of them are bothered. Finally the customer care says they will send me compensatory meals for the entire day after my subscription ends on day 6. Day 7 - I get nothing, it seems the relationship manager and nutritionist wasn’t aware that I was supposed to get compensatory meals which means no internal communication. The manager then commits me whole day meals on the day 8 but again I only get breakfast. Only reason I took this service was because I did not have the time to prepare meals but I wasted more time and energy following up with these guys. I doubt if the mgmt bothers to do anything or if they really escalate it. Don’t bother subscribing and save yourself.

I really wanted to like this, heck I even purchased the subscription for 2 months and that's A LOT of money. The most important part of this entire thing is the app, that's where you see your meals and make changes. But the app is also the only thing that makes the experience annoying. Very often you see changes in your meals which you didn't make. Very often you receive meals which were not even part of your routine and all you can do is just deal with it. I've tried to raise this issue numerous times but their tech team and their management don't care. It's disappointing because it's such a nice concept and I tried it whole heartedly but that's all it is - a nice concept without a functioning app and irresponsible team that keeps passing the blame to the next person. Avoid this until they fix their issues. If you're someone who has food allergies, take extra precaution because they will send you food you're allergic to, even if you tell them everyday that you're allergic to it. Their customer care team doesn't care either and never help.
