Can you guys add a button to add any amount of credits to my card, my son only had 3 bucks left that he wanted to add on the app but it would only let him put $5, if you all could add an update that lets people put their last on their card would be great.

While MainEvent is a possible option to take your kids for some bowling and games - good luck trying to book through the provided app or website. The Location Finder and Booking engine are both broken - in the app and the website. Things fail to load, your location cannot be found even though you have given the app and site permission to use it. Member login is riddled with errors. Many times through navigating either experience dialogs pop up with server and runtime exceptions from the back end systems. The catch to this problem is the user flow requires you to select your location before you can go any further. With that broken it renders the booking service useless. You’d think you could go ‘old-school’ and click the the phone number in the app and call. You can’t click to call, you have to manually copy and paste into your phone dialer. (Really? With all smartphones can do, this is a basic one to implement). To make it worse, when you do get through to a representative they let you know that the only way you can book is through the broken app or website. MainEvent needs to get in contact with their app’s developer quick and get it fixed. It’s been broken long enough now that the app and website have a courtesy message letting you know things are broken! Why waste time coding that ‘our stuff is broken’ pop up and focus on fixing the app? Location services and booking engines are well-trodden territory in apps and websites. They’re not ‘features’ anymore, they’re required functionality for apps that front end services and experiences.

The place is really fun and has a great variety of cool and fun things to do and good prices. However, the actual app has been a terrible experience. I tried to download the app when I was in the actual facility because I saw the poster about if you get the app and reload the first time, you can get double the amount. So I downloaded it and signed up and then waited until we needed to reload. About an hour later or even less, I went into the app to reload and I kept getting an error every time I opened the app, I wasn’t able to sign in let alone reload the card for the convenience and double the points. I tried connecting to their wifi, still didn’t work. So we went home after I tried about 6 times. Once home I tried again and nothing!!! This was ridiculous, I kept getting some weird error message so I uninstalled the app and even had my friend make an account and the same thing, can’t even log in or verify our email without getting the error message. This is ridiculous and kind of took away from my experience at the actual place and me wanting to go back if I can’t use the app and all the advertised cool features
