I booked a reservation online for play yesterday. Immediate greeting at the front desk. So kind and helpful, as was the reservation help via phone. Kristina was the MOD and was quick to say hi and April, our server was quick to greet, offer water and grab my quick drink order. It was bloody hot outside and the heat was too much to continue our two hour reservation. We went inside and sat at the bar with Kieran to finish out tacos and grab a couple of drinks. Kristina came by to check on us and chat for a bit. She’s too notch. Kieran was incredibly accommodating, especially since we ordered food with April and ate at the bar. April came by several times to chat and make sure we were alright. If we could, I would have stayed all day to chat with the crew. It was a 110% great experience. Cheers to a great team! It’s pretty disappointing that I have to walk in to add my name to a waiting list. I understand there are reservations and walk-in options but even Great Clips let’s me add my name to a walk in list before arrival. With the Top Golf app I can see that there is a 2+ hour wait but I still have to go to the location, ask to be added to the list then find something to do to kill time until my slot is open. Otherwise the app is not bad to use. But a wait list feature would be great. Especially since I cannot call the location to be added to the list as I am informed by the automated phone tree that reservations aren’t taken by phone.

The app does not make it clear that you are PAYING a FEE, SEPARATE from your experience. I paid nearly $60 to reserve two bays when no one was waiting for them. The app implies that the money is almost a down payment and not a reservation fee. Also, the employees are not aware of this- or not well trained- explaining that I was wrong and that the reservation fee was credited to my account. I had to show them the receipt and my credit card bill. They still said that I must be mistaken. A high up manager was able to take care of the issue, but this left a sour taste in my mouth. I don’t like feeling that a company is happy to trick customers to make money.
