Disc Golf Valley

Love this game but there are some things that go from slightly bothering to absolutely driving me nuts. For what it is, it’s a pretty realistic game and I would say almost as close to realistic as you can get for a mobile game. The physics however need some tweaks. Skips are one thing but a disc sliding 200 feet like it’s on ice just isn’t something that happens. Especially in grass. Also something that just seems like a small bug is when I’m putting it will recommend anything but a putter. I play fairly fast trying to 3 star all courses and, I feel like as anyone would, I select what I think is my putter on a 15ft putt without looking and I end up hyzering a 12 speed past the basket. If it’s going to say “you’ve got a putt” why not put my putter at the top of my disc selection as it does a driver when I tee off or a midrange when necessary. Sure this could be solved by just paying better attention and going into my bag to get my putter but if it’s a putt then put it at the top of the scroll selector. I could complain about a lot more but at that point I’d just be complaining about disc golf itself lol. Lastly, there are some terribly hard courses. Just absolutely impossible to get any kind of decent score on. I like a challenge but I also would like to be able to 3 star all courses and I’m not even sure if it’s possible bc of how difficult they are. All in all a fun game that needs some tweaking. I see a lot of bad reviews over people getting a ton of ads but I rarely get any. I think I occasionally get one at the end of every few games. Either way I highly recommend. Nice to play when you get the itch but don’t have the chance to get out and play for real.

Awesome game for anyone who loves disc golf and just wants to play some offline rounds. Big thing keeping this from getting 5 stars is the multiplayer features, specifically playing with friends. There is a way to play a “casual round with your friends”, but it’s essentially just playing a round alone and comparing scores at the end. You can’t see your friends shots like in regular multiplayer, and there no way to turn on turn play where you can take turns shooting like in a proper disc golf round. This really takes away all of the fun of playing a round with your friends so until some feature like this is added to casual play I don’t see it ever getting used much if at all. Also really wish they would add flight numbers to the discs so you can easily see which discs are understable, overstable, etc. without having to click the disc and look at the flight path it shows you. Other than that, awesome game, just hope they improve on the multiplayer to make it more immersive and enjoyable soon.

After reading many of the current reviews from unhappy disc hoarders I agree there are some problems with this game. Yes, there are illogical spit-outs. Yes, there is undeniably awkward disc flight. Yes, there are too many trees on some courses. IRL we wouldn’t accept these things but come on, it’s just a cartoon folks! Scientifically this game makes no sense so no need to gripe about injustice. I have been playing Disc Valley Golf ⛳️ for several years and have paid for the mindless fun and frustration it gives me. Once you master the basics you will have fun playing this cute little game and eventually earn a bagful of free discs. WARNING: if you are a Master and display real life skill at tossing a disc, there is no way this game will replicate the accuracy your right arm bestows on a 200ft. fairway! If u lean toward being a know-it-all sore loser this game is not for you! There is plenty of competition in the online multiplayer option but you are matched with maybe one or two players. One will be better than you and one will be worse. Unless you play one hundred games a day seven days a week, your rating will remain below average. Remember it’s just a cartoon. Pretty nice graphics tho, and discs are for sale for those who have money to burn. Despite the huge variety of discs available, the action falls into 3 sizes: putter, mid, and long. I’ve only seen one Ace in the five years I’ve played this game, and it wasn’t me! Would be nice if they had way to communicate with other players but so far, not an option.
