It's very difficult to find likeminded gamers on dating apps. It seems like 1/100 women outwardly admit to playing video games on those apps. You don't get that here, if your goal is to find a gaming partner or friend, this app is like a godsend. There's just one issue, it's terribly designed. The chances of you actually getting a match on this app after a week straight of using it is very low. This is due to the fact that you can only swipe 30 times a day. That's... honestly ridiculous, I'm not sure what the app creators were thinking. Not to mention, if someone likes you, it's also incredibly unlikely they'll ever appear in your feed. Most dating apps will prioritize showing you people who have liked you, but not this app. A lot of people on this app just resort to leaving their social media handles in their bio because they're tired of swiping on the app every single day and getting nowhere. Also, 40% of women on this app are looking for friends only. Looking for friends is totally cool, but the thing is, I'm using the "dating only" filter. Why is it showing me women with boyfriends when I have that enabled? Because it doesn't work that's why. It has said that I have 5 likes at the top of my screen for two weeks now. That number has never gone down, therefore the people who have liked me have never appeared on my feed. No wonder there's so many bios in which people admit they have quit or that they barely use the app. That's not to say there aren't active people on this app, there are, but it's like searching for a working remote in a pile of broken one's. ..and each pile you need to search through is 1000 miles apart from each other. ..and each pile has a 1/10 chance of actually having a working remote in it. It's beyond annoying. If you're desperate for a gaming boyfriend/girlfriend then there isn't really anywhere else I can send you, but man, good luck finding one here.

I have been using this app on and off for over a year and the glaring flaw of having an app based on gaming but not being able to search for people who play those games is hard to ignore. General search functionality would improve this so much and the potential is there but I have seen no effort to implement anything. I genuinely think this could be 5 star worthy if I could actually search based on games and all the other little stuff on the cards, even if it was partially limited to premium (which would be an additional incentive because it’s not worth it right now imo). Also I haven’t really messed around with the Kippoverse lobby stuff and I think they added NFT junk which is pretty bleh, especially considering that they did that instead of adding search functions. For context I’m using this app looking for a girlfriend and not for friends. This actually brings up another point where I think you can choose for your account to be listed as “friends only” but I don’t think you can change that setting and I see a lot of people not looking for a relationship even though I have “friend only” accounts disabled. Anyways my rant is over. Add some search functions and I’ll update this. ✌️ P.S. From what I can tell this app seems to have mostly been advertised on TikTok (based on comments in people’s profiles. Personally I found it through a google search) which may or may not contribute to overall quality.

First of all.. who thought it was okay to literally have no option to enable notifications the proper way so that users can be notified when someone messages or replies?? It makes no sense to me how an app has no way to notify you if someone interacts with you. Manually opening the app is tedious for anyone. Secondly, I’d say this app is really effective at finding friends, and when I say friends I mean friends, because finding that special someone for dating or other interests is harder. This is because half the people you meet on the app are already taken or uninterested or just fishing for validation using the app as a means to promote something about themselves. I’ve even tried the subscription model to see if that hells me with unlimited likes but that doesn’t change much. You can have all the mutual games in the world but they still won’t reply to you unless you’re 1) really attractive or 2) are only looking for friends. And the best part of all, you can’t get notified even if you do send a message or they send you one 🤣
