Positive Singles®: Herpes Date

I’m grateful that someone thought about creating an app for us but it doesn’t feel genuine anymore. The app has been around a long time with little to no updates for the user or features to enjoy. Using the reason of “keeping the user safe” isn’t a good enough reason for putting everything behind a pay wall. The app is not user friendly. It’s preying on vulnerable people to profit off of them. The creators use an already small population who feels limited in opportunity and gives them the bare minimum when it comes to dating apps. Matching with someone usually gives a chance to connect on other platforms but here, you have to pay to talk to someone you’ve already matched with. Yes there is a section where you can talk to strangers about what you’re going through but it’s not executed to be personalized or meaningful for everyone. It’s an excuse to keep allowing the paywall elsewhere. The entire point of creating an app to help connect people with similarities is to give them that chance to speak to one another but unfortunately you can’t do that until you pay for it. Very unfortunate being reminded that our community doesn’t get a break on stigma and we have to pay to feel normal

With a person new with a medical condition it really takes a toll on you. Depression anxiety. The weight crushing you. The questing yourself. What did I do wrong? I wish I could take back my action.. in my moment of low self esteem this app really helped me. But I would like to leave it up to luck and fate. With my experience there was not many people on this app I think it needs more attention. More social media networking and advertising. But it is a sticky subject I suppose. I had to pay to make the experience better. To join a chat to talk with people so I could understand my situation better. And I’m great full for the people I got to talk to on there. But to even get a chance at finding someone on there, especially when you don’t live near a city is hard. This app can take advantage of you sure. But your going to pay because you feel like there is no other option. Hopefully someday there will be better options. Options That want you to find love and friendships and connections. Not just the money aspect to it. So with this review I would give it 2 stars. Because I found people to help me cope with my new diagnosis. Now why did I give it a 3? That one extra star? It was a month. And I had a bad date experience. I was about to delete it but then gave it one more chance. I messaged a guy, he messaged me back. And that man is now my fiancé. it was fate that brought us together, but the app was the middle man so I will give it that. 3 stars for Positive Singles!!!

When I found I am positive, I feel very sad for a long time. In the past several years, I joined a lot of secret H groups and sites including positive singles dating site, and haven’t find my match so far. After I started using the PS app, I thinks it is very convenient, I can communicate with other herpes singles easily. Yes, the app doesn’t have the same features as site, but it is more interesting and effective than other std dating apps, it has a feature called Drift Bottle, it is interesting, I meet some friends through this feature, I have tried many other popular dating apps including tinder, pof, badoo but I don’t have courage to tell them myself at first. Not like here, we are the same, together. Also, their customer service is good, when I had a problem and sent them a message, I got a quick response. So I think this is very nice app, hope this app becomes better and better and I might stay here even I found my match, so that I can get more friendship and support. Thank you!!
