CDFF: Christian Dating App

I am just here to leave a review of my experience so far. I’ll probably come back to change it as time goes. First off I really like the app so far. You give us a lot of good stuff for it being free and I don’t find the adds that much of an issue for all the free stuff we get. Haven’t found a potential husband yet but I like the advanced search. It is very helpful. I just have a few suggestions for improvements for future updates. 1 : Please add Independent Baptist to the list of denominations we can choose from. And that’s not just for me I’ve already seen others who say that they are Independent Baptist too but they can only mention it in the summary part about ourselves. 2 : Please make a way to link the advanced search filter to filter who sees our profiles and sends us winks and messages. I keep getting messages and winks from people who are as far from my advanced search filters as you could get on this site. I’ve lost count how many guys from foreign countries or who are part of a religion I want no part in or who are way outside of my age restriction who have messaged or winked me. I understand wanting to leave us open for people willing to move for us people who are not willing to move but there should be a filter for people not wanting to marry someone from outside their country or continent. Especially with all those stories of people marrying just to leave their country. Not a good foundation for a marriage at all.

I want to start off by saying that it’s a very simple app. When you get on. The layout is a very simple design, which can be a good or a ehhh not so good thing. It’s very easy to navigate, and see where to go from the main menu. It asks a decent amount of questions when you first set up the account, to make sure that your account accurately describes who you are and what you want people to know. Within my first few minutes on I had a few “winks” from people. I met a few friends and even joined a Christian chat. It is very interesting to say the least. It’s a very laid back app and great for Christians trying to find friends or partnerships or a listening ear that is religious just as they are. I give the app a 4 start just for the fact it’s still a very simple set up from my opinion. It’s great just wish it was a little more of a elegant design. I also enjoyed the fact I could see people who viewed me. It does however seem there is a few scammers making there way around on the app. As well as it seems to be mostly people in their Middle Ages. Overall I give this app a 4/5! Thank you

While the app is not the greatest, it is far better than it used to be many months ago before they changed the interface. Its functions are generally slow, especially transitions between pages/functions, as well as messaging. However, since the latest update, messaging is completely broken for me. When I go to view a message, it presents a prompt to watch an ad or subscribe to premium, so I watch the ad. After finishing, the message window is blank and gives me no ability to view or reply to the message. I’ve mostly looked at the app as a time diversion, since there don’t seem to be many people locally near me using the app or website. Most of the messages I receive are from foreign people, but you can block messages from people outside of the US if you want. While the app has very large room for improvement, and I understand the need for ad revenue to keep the company going, I am not sure I would continue to use it if there aren’t some major fixes and changes in the way the ads are presented. Previous versions had ads come up seemingly randomly, and while it was quite annoying, it was fairly understandable— at least it didn’t break the ability to use the app. If this new prompt comes up every time I go to view a message, I will probably just close my account. Never forget to be careful out there everyone— seek God with your choices and try your best to keep your eyes open. Just because this is a Christian app doesn’t leave it free of prowling wolves. —User akkurate
