HiMommy: Ovulation & Pregnancy

My fiancé and I downloaded HiMommy and HiDaddy at the beginning of my pregnancy, the daily messages with information about the baby and the additional articles and tools really made us feel prepared, like we had a good understanding of how pregnancy worked and where our daughter was at developmentally. I would wake up every morning and read the notification from the app, it became an exciting part of our little routine. When our daughter arrived I was disappointed to say goodbye to this little ritual, only to find out that the app has a mode for babies too! I really recommend this app to anyone expecting or with an infant, but especially to first time parents! 10/10.

Okay I used this app my last pregnancy, which was almost 2 years ago and I am now pregnant again. I thought to myself okay let me give this one more shot. Now I did have the subscription in the app and it’s not all that, so I promise you I know about the “full experience”. To be super honest it’s not all that…. At all. It’s frustrating how every time I go into the app it tells me “get 50% off at our last summer sale” I click decline offer then another one after that will ask you are you sure and ITS EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP!!!!!!! I just want to see the little description and the little 3D baby and that’s it. But you have to click decline every time….. and sometimes I’ll accidentally click restore and that right there, grinds my gears. You have a section that will tell you about baby but then another right below that, that goes into depth and you obviously can’t read that full thing if you aren’t paying for it. The app itself it’s cute don’t get me wrong, you do have a little journal, document growth, some of the cute stuff. My main point is, not everyone is able to pay and I feel obligated every time I open this app. I am going to delete this app and look into another one. It’s ridiculous at this point😴

I loved having this App during my pregnancy to track my little ones growth and I learn something new every day about what was going on with him inside my belly. I love how it compared the baby’s size to different fruits each month & love that the app continued even after my baby was born. My son is about to turn a year old & I’m still checking HiMommy! daily & learn new things about my son’s growth & learning progress. He is my 3rd baby and I’m still finding out new things. I definitely recommend HiMommy! It is wonderful that they offer a free version so everyone is able to use it.
