I have been a customer of this bank around 1 year and a half Lately I have experienced the worst costumer service experience ever , I tried to log in to my account and 3 times I put the wrong password but the application was saying to me that the system is down so I wasn’t aware I was putting the wrong password , I gave them a call and because I was in a public place I said to the agent the lady that I can’t provide personal info and I will call them back after a while I called I was informed my account is blocked and I need to provide my iD , I asked why my account is blocked they didn’t gave me a straight answer I uploaded my id on December 26th the supervisor she told me I need to wait 5 business days and she will expedite in around 72 hours … so still no news from there and I don’t have access to my MONEY And it’s really frustrating when this is happening . As an advice stay away from this bank they lock your account app is crashing and agents give you attidute most of them work for home if you lucky and you can speak to a supervisor they might listen to you but they won’t do anything
I have used or attempted to use a number of On Line Banks to set up accounts for myself or help other family member's. From setting up an account to the processes, functionality's and ease of use, CIT gives me access to everything and more than I could ever get with a brick & mortar bank. This includes Customer Service support when I need it that makes me feel like I walked into a physical bank and have five service reps all standing behind the glass waiting to help me. There is a lot of competition in the market, but the ability to “make transactions” on my time, anytime and know I have every tool I need in my app is why I will remain with CIT even as the market continues to change. I understand that my business isn’t going to make any difference in their success, but I actually feel like I matter and they value my business and my feedback.
I recently opened an online account with Cit Bank and setup a transfer from an external bank account. I was told I’d be notified when your micro deposits were made and I could then verify my external account. I was , however, never notified that the deposits had been made so I checked my account and found that they had indeed been made. I called your help number to find out if my transfer would be processed now but the person I spoke with was very difficult to understand. I was finally able to get the message that in one to four days the transfer would take place. I’m just a bit concerned that things didn’t go as smoothly with Cit Bank as they have with other online banks. I sincerely hope that things improve! Thanks
